This auction is for a very high quality Gorham sterling silver bonbonierre (bonbon serving bowl) with elaborate floral leaf and reticulated scroll work.
Large it measures approx. 9" overall length, 4 1/4" wide and quite heavy weighing 260 grams/ 8.36 troy ounces. Fully marked as shown with the late 19th century Gorham mark and the1899 date mark. Pattern A 291.
These bowl are not often on the market and consistently bring high prices at auction. This is a particularly fine o...ne in very good antique condition with no damages nor repairs. It has never been monogrammed.
