  Currentlyavailable is this M-3 ShoulderHolster made by the Boyt Harness Co., of Osceola, Iowa.  Made to carry the M-1911 .45 cal. pistol, this shoulder holsterwas issued primarily to armored vehicle crews for a more comfortable fit whilein a tank or armored personnel carriers and were popular with pilots and aircrews as well as for anyone who could get their hands on one.  Thisholster is made of brown leather with an adjustable shoulder strap with a "lif...t the dot" snap closure to retain the pistol and aloop for attaching to the pistol belt.  This M-3 holster is in excellentbarely used condition having the belt loop snap replaced with a Chicago screw.
