Up for auction is a Vintage 1920’s L.C. Smith & Corona No. 4 Red Portable Typewriter. It measures 4” high, 10” wide and 11” long. The roll bar is 12.5” wide. CORONA is written on the cover plate. L.C. SMITH & CORONA TYPEWRITERS INC. is written on the front base in front of the keys. CORONA Made in U.S.A. is written on the back of the base. It has 47 keys and the space bar. The typewriter is red in color and has a simple design of giraffe print done in black, the design is on ...the front and sides. It comes in the original carrying case which has CORONA written in Yellow on the inside of the top lid. Also included with the typewriter is an extra spool of ribbon.The typewriter is in good clean working condition, though it has some wear. The spool tops are missing and some of the paint has worn off, mostly on the front of the base in front of the keys. There is no other damage. The ribbon on the typewriter is the spare one mentioned, I switched them over to test the ribbon which still works nicely.
