we are happy to accept payment by cheque or bank transfera super example of an early cymric art nouveau silver & turquoise pen tray, designed by archibald knox, it was produced in the art nouveau jugendstil secessionist era of around 1909 at the same time as the german firms of wmf, kayserzinn and orivit were producing similar pieces of art nouveau pewter, made by William Hair Haselers of Birmingham for the liberty & co cymric ware range, fully marked ...with the full assay office marks for birmingham date is rubbed but c1909 plus the distinctive L&Co mark for the maker and easily recognisable as coming from the iconic designs of archibald knox and others, the silver is in a gently a polished condition and does show signs of age with the usual marks for a functional piece that is well in excess of 100 years old there are a some tiny kinks but the overall condition should still be consider as excellent so a really fine and impressive display piece, if you require any further information, please send an e-mail and I will get back to you.
