we are happy to accept payment by cheque or bank transfera super example of an early cymric art nouveau silver & enamel mens comb, designed by archibald knox, it was produced in the art nouveau jugendstil secessionist era of around 1900 at the same time as the german firms of wmf, kayserzinn and orivit were producing similar pieces of art nouveau pewter, made by William Hair Haselers of Birmingham for the liberty & co cymric ware range, fully marked wi...th the full assay office marks for birmingham date letter k for 1909 plus the distinctive WHH mark for the maker and easily recognisable as coming from the iconic designs of archibald knox and others, the silver is in a gently a polished condition and does show signs of age with the usual marks for a functional piece that is well in excess of 100 years old and as can clearly be seen the the comb body has cracked through and a tooth is missing at that point, the overall condition should still be consider as very good so a really fine and impressive display piece, if you require any further information, please send an e-mail and I will get back to you.
