This was the top of the line model in the 1960s and it was a part of the Meisterstuck line, along with the 1x pens. Clean lines, luxurious materials and dependability, all in one.The 196...0s design proved so popular that it was re-launched in 1990s as GENERATION line and currently - as CRUISE collection which are the modern incarnation of these vintage models.These ballpoints were sold on their own or as a companion to the Montblanc 2x and 3x pens from the 60s and 70s. ImprintsThe cap ring is stamped:pen:MONTBLANC – Germany The top of the pencil has the white inlaid Montblanc snowflake logo.Item conditionExcellent, pristine condition but has personalisation to the cap as shown. The pen has a brand new genuine refill fitted with a special adaptor (please do not discard this when changing the refill in future) and the mechanism works and writes as it should. This is a genuine Montblanc article (I don't collect fake pens).Filling systemLever activated mechanism – the lever in the clip is used to extend/retract the writing end.
