Vintage Feed Sack Hand Sewn SUNBONNET SUE W/ Umbrella Quilt; 88 " X 75 "

The quilt measures 88" by 75" across and weighs 4 1/2 lbs un-boxed. The bed is a queen, 80" by 60".
The printed fabrics on the appliques are, we believe, feed sacks, but we are not 100% sure of that. The fabric used as backing, seen on pic # 12, is not feed sack.
The sewing was all done by hand, including the quilting. The batting is cotton.
The most visible damages are the discolored areas on the blue sashing and borders. We have no idea how that can be restored without pract...ically making a new quilt using the materials on this one. We decided to sell this, as is, and not discard it, because someone might found this mostly blue quilt so nice, or cute, that they might be interested in using it with damages and all, without any restoration.
The faint stains on the off-white cotton on the blocks might be removed by laundering the quilt but we are not certain of that (they are old stains, most of the time very difficult to remove).
