Original Description:
Up for sale is Original WWII Japanese Officer’s Gunto / Sword with Scabbard . This gunto / sword has a 26" single edged machine made blade, 1.25" wide at base, 37.5" overall length.  Plain round tsuba (guard) with re-wound ito (wrapping) looks like black tape holding it on, i do not want to mess with it or take it apart to find out.  Metal saya (scabbard) with one hanging ring.  
The condition is Fair.  Blade is mostly bright with some staining an...d oxidation.  Edged has some dents near tip.  Additional oxidation of metal parts.  Some flaking to scabbard finish. Look very close at pictures the Japanese sword you see is the one you will receive. Please ask all questions before purchasing this is buy as is with no returns or refunds.
