STRAWBERRIES From 1880 - 90s CRAZY QUILT LAVENDER FILLED FINE EMBROIDERY & COLORS

My original crazy and traditional quilt stockings, along with my other one of a kind creations, are "Handmade with love.....and a touch of lavender.....from my home to yours" since 2000.
I love to rem...ember these creative and talented ladies from so long ago, and to preserve pieces of their works of arts into pillows, little hearts, lavender filled strawberries and sachets, stockings......and so much more.......are just some ways that I can keep their memories in our hearts.
Serving up another batch of my signature lavender filled strawberries......yummy! There are six (6) luscious and dazzling strawberries made from a beautiful 1880-90s crazy quilt. The embroidery work on lush velvets and silks is exquisite with lots of teeny and delicate flowers, along with an initial "B".....gorgeous work! For their hulls I have used some rosettes of faux pearls and sequins taken from a vintage Oleg Cassini "BlackTie" evening dress. I have carefully hand stitched all of the rosette hulls on.....no glue was used.
Each strawberry is plumped to the max with pure dried lavender buds, no other filler was used, and they will come with a satin ribbon hanger. Give them a gentle squeeze now and then to release some more of their lovely scent. Each strawberry measures approximately 3 inches tall. Since each little bit is individually hand crafted, they may vary ever so slightly in size or symmetry.
Perfect as little tucks to sweetly scent your dresser drawers, to hang on dresses and such in your closet, luncheon or shower favors, ornaments.......so many uses. Whether you arrange and display them on a silver platter or your own special plate or basket, these strawberries will be sure to add an elegant touch! You will receive the six strawberries as shown in this listing.
Although I try very hard to use only the best areas of my cutter textiles, there might be some slight surface wear, but I will always let you know of any major issues. You won't be disappointed with my creations as I take great pride in my workmanship.....from the careful placing and cutting of the textiles' patterns, the construction of my cut pieces........to the final completed pieces for you to enjoy for many more years to come.
Shipping will be with USPS and I will happily refund any excess shipping costs....I never charge a handling fee. I will be glad to combine shipping on multiple items, so before paying, just let me know if you are still bidding.
