HEARTS From 1880 - 90s CRAZY QUILT SWEET FORGET - ME - NOTS STARFISH FEATHERS FLOWERS

My original crazy and traditional quilt stockings, along with my other one of a kind creations, are "Handmade with love.....and a touch of lavender.....from my home to yours" since 2000.
I love to remember these creative and talented ladies from so long ago, an...d to preserve pieces of their works of arts into pillows, little hearts, stockings, lavender filled strawberries and sachets......and so much more.......are just some ways that I can keep their memories in our hearts.
Offered are six (6) little hearts made from two different 1880-90s crazy quilts. These little hearts showcase absolutely beautiful embroidery work to include a profusion of mini forget-me-nots, a gorgeous dark plum calla lily, more flowers, a starfish and some softly windblown feathers. Feathers were a favorite spiritual symbol for the Victorian ladies. The overall embroidery work is awesome.....very talented makers to be sure!
Each of these six hearts measure approximately 4.5 inches wide by about 4 inches tall. Given that these little bits are individually handcrafted, each heart may vary ever so slightly in size or symmetry. The backs of these hearts are from a vintage black velvet opera coat. Each heart is firmly plumped with new premium fiberfil and will come with a black satin hanger. Although I try very hard to use only the best areas of my cutter textiles, there might be some slight surface wear, but I will always let you know of any major issues. You won't be disappointed with my creations as I take great pride in my workmanship.....from the careful placing and cutting of the textiles' patterns, the construction of my cut pieces........to the final completed pieces for you to enjoy for many more years to come. These six (6 ) hearts pictured will come to you from a smoke free home.
