This is a Nice Original WW2 US FSSF First Special Service Force Pair of Paratrooper Boots Manufacture Date March 5 1943 Made by the International Shoe Co. size 12 B worn by my Uncle then Lt. Col. Robert (Bob) Moore 2nd regimental commander from Spartanburg SC where I live. Large size as he was 6'3 225 at the time. Superb condition as you can see with original laces and 12 rows of eyelets. all I did when I found these was to wipe the off with a wet paper towel ...so they are as they were when he last wore them. I don't think you can upgrade from these. These were issued in Helena Montana in 1943 during training. Training that came in handy during the assault on Mt La Defensa in 1943 in Italy that was led my uncle Lt Col Robert S. Moore. the story that made the Force Famous. these were his and as nice as they come. I leave these items in original state. I m selling this item and many more items from his estate for my cousins. see the pictures its a nice one. they has been worn so yes used and worn. great piece. more FSSF items of his will be listed tonight and more to come. great all original items. thanks for bidding ask questions if you have them.
