DESCRIPTION: This is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander "Cissy" doll. She is 20" tall and comes dressed in a genuine Madame Alexander "Cissy" blue taffeta dress, panties, stockings and original shoes. This exact doll in the same dress is pictured on the Doll Reference website with the title "1955 Cissy Doll". The doll is in excellent vintage condition. Her hair is still in its original style. Has some fly-aways, but as you can see from the photos, it still looks gre...at. Face paint is excellent. Stringing is good. Arm and leg joints are in excellent condition, as are hands and feet. No splits or cracks on torso or on arm and leg joints. She has a very light pink color on her right knee (see photo), and she is missing a 1/4" plug of eyelashes on her left eye. Her clothes are all original. Her blue taffeta dress is in excellent condition and has the Madame Alexander "Cissy" label at the back neckline. She has what I believe are her original black shoes, although the elastic has been replaced. Her panties need new elastic and have a couple of small holes. Her stockings look great, and their elastic still firmly holds them place at the top of her thighs. Both the doll and her clothing are very clean. She has no odors and is coming to you from a smoke-free home.
