Vintage Wood Moai KavaKava - Spirit With Ribs Rapa Nui Easter Island with Stand. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.KavaKava Moai - the Spirit With Ribs is the emaciated man with the sunken belly and prominent ribs known to have ward of evil spirits for the Rapa Nui people. This little guy comes with a stand to hold him as he was carved uneven and unable to support himself. He has the traditional wide horror filled eyes, minus the shell and obsidian. His mouth is a grim...ace and his ears are long, and curled on the end. He’s very old and has been in my collection for 20 years. I bought him from a another collector I met through the Easter Island Foundation, back in 1999. He is in good shape with no cracks or chips to his wood. There are a few scratches on him especially on the right side of his neck where the stand supports him. Please look at the pictures as they are part of the description.Thanks
