This is an Art Nouveau pewter jewelry casket by W.B. Mfg. Co./Weidlich Bros. of Bridgeport, Connecticut, (c.1901-1950). It is stamped on the bottom #388, W.B.Mfg.Co. The outside is in an antique gold worn finish. The is a smaller box measuring 5 1/4"-inches wide x 3 1/4"-inches deep x 3 3/8"-inches high. The inside of the box measures approximately 4 1/4" x 2 1/4" x 1". There is a lock, but no key so it is unknown whether or not the lock works. The satin satin interior is not in great ...shape - the threads are coming apart. One of the legs is missing the felt on the bottom. Please see the pictures. Really a neat piece of artwork.
