Original Description:
Large French Petite Sonnerie carriage clock @ 1890 with original winding key.  This is a very nice one owner clock that came out of an estate recently, where it was meticulously maintained.  All beveled glasses are original and good.  The extremely high quality and detailed case has an excellent well worn patina and looks fantastic.  Great original porcelain dial is undamaged.  Original fancy hands.  The 8 day quarter hour repeating Petite Sonnerie movemen...t runs good and keeps excellent time with its original platform escapement, but it is sold without any warranty due to shipping.  Strikes Petite Sonnerie on the quarter hours, and strikes Grande Sonnerie whenever the repeat button on top of the case is pushed.  The clock is extra deluxe, and heavy, weighing in at 4 1/4 pounds.  Dimensions are:  7 1/8" tall with the handle up x 3 3/4" wide x 3 1/4" deep.  No reserve.  UPS ground shipping in the continental USA will be $35.00.
