Welcome to my listing, please allow me to introduce myself. My name is James. I am a horologist and have been working with clocks and watches for over 30 years. I have been fully trained by the British Horological Institute and worked under my mentor for many years so you can buy with total confidence. It has a superb Georgian style arched top design to the clock which can be displayed on its wall bracket, the case has a beautiful mahogany veneer which has the most wonderful colour and patina to it that displays absolutely beautifully.On either side of the case their is a glazed panel through which you can see the chain driven fusee movement working away. The case has a glazed front door to protect the dial and a hinged glazed back door to protect the movement, both doors have there working locks and key. The wall bracket which comes with the clock is not original but does display the clock wellThe Clock Measures - 13.75 inches high x 11.5 inches wide x 7.75 inches deepThe Clock On Its Bracket Measures - 20.25 inches high x 12.25 inches wide x 9 inches deepDialThe clock has a 7.5 inch x 5 inch arched brass & silvered dial with engraved Roman numerals on the silvered chapter ring and original fine hands, the dial is in excellent condition for age. This is a high quality antique English twin fusee mahogany bracket clock dating to circa 1850. The clock has a 7.5 inch x 5 inch arched brass & silvered dial with engraved Roman numerals on the silvered chapter ring and original fine hands, the dial is in excellent condition for age. The brass has a stunning ormolu finish to it with fine engraved decoration all over and in excellent condition, to the top their are 2 sub dials one for the choice of silent/strike and the other for regulation
