ANTIQUE BLACK FOREST CUCKOO CLOCK FROM THE EARLY 1900'SThis clock is a stunning unique very attractive clock with a Ibex Goat on top of rocks a must have for one's collection. This is a Black Forest cuckoo clock easily from the early 1900's. This clock's color can best be described as a very rich walnut brown with hints of golden brown that catches everyone's eye. This black forest clock has amazing highly carved detail that intricately contains it's vines and double carved l...eaves over leaves. This clock has been cleaned, serviced and oiled. It's movement ticks tocks cuckoo's and gongs like it should. The clocks cuckoo bird cuckoo's the number of times the hour and once on the halve's. The movement has no markings.This is a working clock and in great condition for it's age. The clocks hands are beautifully carved from bone. This clock has it's beautiful Antique hand painted cuckoo bird that sits on it's metal perch The measurement's are as followed: The clock is 20 1/2 inches tall and 13 3/4 inches wide and 9 1/4 inches deep.From the very top to the bottom of the pendulum is 26 inches long.The clocks Face measures 5 1/4 inches in diameter.From the top of the Ibex Goat to the bottom of it's feet measures 6 inches tall. From the Ibex Goat ear to the rams tail measures 5 1/2 inches.This clock comes with 2 antique weights and it's matching leaf motif pendulum.
