Offered is this beautiful antique French faience handled and footed planter jardiniere.
Made by the Fourmaintraux Freres Faiencerie in Desvres, France in the 1800's. It is well marked on the bottom as seen in photo.
It has a wonderful Rococo form.
It is hand painted with flowers and leaves and the center scene is a castle with a shield of a rooster which may have been a family crest of a person of royalty.
It measures 8 inches long, 4.75 inches wide and stands about 3.5 inc...hes tall.
It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks. It has a few glaze flakes as seen in photos and some yellowing from age.
