Welcome to Antiques & Moore!This listing is for a early-mid 19th Century hand wrought brass wall mount match holder. The brass is nicely formed with cut design on every edge. There is a punched on the back panel for hanging. This is a very well constructed match holder that was definitely made to last. Measures 7" long and 3 7/8" wide. Weighs 6 ounces. This nice match holder is in very good Estate condition with no noted flaws other than a couple of faint dents on the sur...face of the brass on the curved front panel. This was definitely a functional item that was made to last and has been used for almost two centuries.
