Gorgeous Pair of Large Louis XV Style Ormolu Gilt-Brass Candlesticks
These Candlesticks are part of a group of items being sold on behalf of the family of an elderly collector in Connecticut. Collector had varied interests with very good (expensive) taste. Lots of seemingly high quality items. Family is unsure of provenance (where or when these items were collected) but we will try to give as much information as we have.
Candlesticks measure 12" high x 6 1/4" wi...de. Matched set. Features beautiful detail work on Gilt-Brass bases. Removable bobeches (candle holder at top).Very heavy.Have tried to photograph as best as possible - please excuse glare from the lights.
