Hello, you are viewing my sale for an Antique L & F Moreau Signed Metal Figural Statue Showing a Woman Girl Holding a Tambourine. There is a front plaque on the bottom wood base that states "LE Baiser". This statue sculpture is Made In France. There is a small dime size circular makers mark present that attributes this to Moreau and also Made in Paris France. I have shown this in my photographs. The base of this statue is made from wood while the ...top section appears to be made from a Bronze over Spelter metal. I am uncertain however of the exact type of metal that it is made from. A magnet will not stick to the metal. This statue weighs 4.4 pounds and measures 16" tall with the wood base by 6" wide at the wood base. There is a small chip/split in the wood base which I have shown in my photographs. The metal sculpture has minimal wear. There are no breaks, bends, or repairs.
