Up for auction is this great Tiffany Studios New York bronze desk set Zodiak pattern hinged lidded box. Measuring 5 3/8 X 3 1/2 inches and 1 1/18 inches high, the piece from the popular Zodiak pattern line features an image of Aquarius on one side and Aries on the other. These images are surrounded by coiling snakes design. This same snake design is also on the sides. The piece is used for cigars or general desk set items. The mottled textured piece is a w...onderful example of the early 20th century Arts & Crafts movement. From the famed company, the piece is fully marked on the bottom "TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 810". The "810" is for the Tiffany Studios stock number. In excellent condition with only very minimal wear. Great antique patina to bronze with only minor oxidation on interior. A great piece in nice shape offered with NO RESERVE!!
