Very nice small size Belding Heminway 3 drawer silk spool cabinet. This cabinet is great if you want one and don't want to spend $100 plus on shipping. I'm guessing that the wood is either stained birch or poplar and would date to about 1910. Once we reached the 1900-1910 era these thread companies which originally used oak, walnut and cherry started to switch to less expensive woods before switching altogether over to metal cabinets by the 1920's. This cabinet is very nice with minor ...wear, half of it's original dividers and all the original drawer pulls. The inside is very clean. The cabinet and the drawers are fully dovetailed or finger joint construction. This cabinet is 4 1/8" tall, 14 3/4" wide and 9" deep including the drawer pulls. The inside dimensions are 13 1/2" wide. Each divided section is just about 2 1/4" wide and 7 3/4" from front to back. The interior height of each drawer is 1" The dividers do have some "give" to them so you might be able to remove them without breaking them. My shipping figure is based on Coast-to-Coat distance.
