I recently purchased a large collection of leather bound Franklin Library and Easton books from the estate of the former CEO of a major US firm. Many of them are first edition signed volumes. His collection has been shelved and untouched since his demise.
This collectable quality book, not signed, appears to have never been opened, let alone read. This sale includes the pamphlet "Notes from the Editors." Leather bound, hubbed spines, and accented ...with 22kt gold. Printed on archival paper with gilded edges. The end-sheets are of moire fabric with a silk ribbon page marker. Smyth sewing and concealed muslin joints ensure the highest quality binding.
