Original Description:
This limited edition of Whittier is beautifully bound in blue leather, perfectly preserved: no foxing, clear pages within; no scuffs or wear on cover and spine.  One crack in back inside binding but the book is tight and displays well. Inscribed for a birthday, July, 1916,  
The fore-edge painting shows delicately-rendered people walking/dancing silhouetted on a henna-colored background. The painting is hidden by gilded edges when the book is closed, and displays when edge... is fanned.
