Please check out this possible ancient Japanese Comic Demon Buaku Kyogen Carved Stone Mask Sculpture. It is brilliantly carved out of a green colored stone accentuating the depth of his eye sockets, and adding a sense of drama.The piece measures 3.5/8" High x 2.7/8" Wide x 1.3/16" Deep and is in good condition. It is framed in the original Mid-Century handmade frame that is also in god condition. The sculpture weight is 168 grams . I have not been able to identify the type o...f stone or the actual age but can definitely say that the piece is very old.
