This WWII US Army Mountain troop tent was manufactured by Tweedie Mfg Co. in 1944. The tent is really in amazing condition for 74 years old. Netting is intact, floor appears to have additional layer on one end, do not see any holes or tears. Both snorkels and openings are intact with all strings attached; no zippers because they could jam or freeze. The tent is reversible with OD green to the outside and white to the inside. ... This is really a unique tent and the only of its kind in WWII where it has a waterproof floor as well as a entry tube at both ends and ventilation tubes at the top of both ends. Big enough for two people. What you see is what is included. Poles are in great shape, no cracks or warps. Some guy ropes are attached on olive drab side. Really a great piece and was used by the mountain troops and 10th Mountain Division out of Camp Hale , Colorado. I got this tent from Hans Wagner , he served in WW II with the 10th as Artic Advisor we were both stationed at Ft Richardson , Alaska 1963-66. This type of tent saw extensive use in Italy in WWII. Recently downsized and just have no room to store it. Will ship world wide, buyer pays shipping.
