Antique Bronze Dogs on Pegs. These two dogs with different tails are very heavy for their size. They may date to pre 1900? Buyer to analyze photos. No makers mark. These dogs have pegs on their feet. I have done extensive internet research on these with no luck. My guess is they were part of a larger item such as a clock or lamp but they may have simply been on bronze or marble stands. Marble most likely. I’m willing to dramatically reduce the price if the buyer can identity these do...gs and their origin. I’m more interested in their origin than getting a sale at this point. I enjoy learning about a variety of antiques. I bought these from a retired antique dealer who said she could never figure out their origin either. She believed they dated back to the 1800s but no way to really know at this point. Thanks for looking!
