        An original Civil War letter written by a soldier named Eleazer Bryant who was in the 57th Massachusetts. It is dated September 1864. In one area it looks like he says, .....they will try hard to get me to take a gun they do all Drummer but I shant take one they can put me in the guard house for three years I shant take one...........    It is not signed, he says, So Good Bye, at the end. I currently  have ot...her letters listed that was written by this person.   The letter has wear and stain marks, there are split marks on the folds.       If you have any questions feel free to ask.
