A Rare 19th Century Heavy Gilded Bronze Eagle Bird withoutstretched wings and standing on an outcrop bolder.
It looks to be a Pocket Watch Holder as it has a hole in its Beak to hold a Watch?
Highly detailed casting and a heavy bronze at 1710g in weight.
In good condition for age with overall wear to the gilding gained through use and the passage of time. Such an unusual and interesting bronze which display beautifully.
