Original Description:
Rare, cast iron elephant doorstop made by the Creations Company of Lancaster, Pa. which was only in business for the year 1930. This company was started at the beginning of the Great Depression and was not able to survive which makes its products quite scarce.This doorstop is documented in Smith's doorstop book. The example in the book is solid white, this one looks like a bronze finish on the back and painted red on the front. It is listed as an:"Elephant by Creations", value listed i...s $250-$350.Measures about 8" long x 7 1/4" tall and the base is 2 1/8" deep, weighs 3 lbs. 53oz.
