Up for auction is this super scarce, vintage Aldo Londi / Bitossi Italian pottery “remini blue” lidded bird box or lidded dove bowl / tureen. Comes from a high-end Mid-Century Modern Los Angeles estate collection and fresh to the market!
This gorgeous sculpture is a rare art piece in quite great condition - just minor flaking to the edges and beak that would be simple to touch up, if desired. No major losses, cracks, chips or restoration.
Signed on bottom and a super collecti...ble and desirable piece of Italian remini blue at a NO RESERVE auction!
Measures 9” inches long, 7.5” inches tall and 4.75” inches wide (23.9 cm, 19.1 cm, 12.1 cm).
