Original Description:
Picked this 1/6 plate ambrotype up back in 1969 in Richmond from a CW dealer. He said he only kept perfect images (guess there were a lot more of them around in the 60's in great condition.) Anyway, he said it was a Reb but it wasn't of his quality to keep. So it intrigued me (when your 20 years old this is cool stuff) and I bought it. In the 1/2 case it came in. Since it's been 50 yrs. since I bought It I would think the research is available to take this further. Wish I was... younger!
