Beautiful and uniquely shaped antique Japanese Meiji period bronze vase. The body is decorated with raised floral, foliage and avian motifs and  flanked by what I believe are avian handles, (but might even be dragons). Finished in an overall soft brown patina. Unmarked except for a small internal marking (see pictures). This vase Measures 7-7/8" H x 3-5/8" W. 
This is a heavier (for its size), ornate vase.
