RARE SIDECAR COMBINATION
TINPLATE CONSTRUCTION, WITH LITHO PRINTED FINISH
c.1948...MADE IN THE U.S OCCUPIED ZONE OF GERMANY
CIVILIAN MOTORCYCLIST IN PERIOD ATTIRE, WITH ZIPPER JACKET AND FANCY TROUSERS... LOOKS GREAT

CLOCKWORK / WIND UP MECHANISM........currently a nice free wheeling model, as the mechanism spring and a connecting gear is missing / needs replacing to work
NICE LITHO DETAIL, ON BOTH BIKE AND RIDER
VINTAGE 70 YEAR OLD PIECE.....THESE RED TIPPCO BIKES ARE WELL KNOWN FOR VERY BAD COLOUR FADE, ESPECIALLY WHEN ONE SIDE HAS BEEN DISPLAYED AND EXPOSED TO THE SUN ON A WINDOW SHELF....this example has a really nice bright colour all over.
SIDECARS OLD BASE PLATE IS STILL NICELY SECURED WITH ITS TABS
BRIGHT DUNLOP CORD TIN SPOKE WHEELS
has retained the original luggage rack, handle bars /arm section
displays only little natural age/play wear, with the odd scuff, spidering age lines, marking, chip to the litho and metal
very clean underside
great solid piece...not rotten
