We are listing today a great Antique 19th century Stoneware Salt Glazed Flower Decorated 3 Gallon Ovoid Pennsylvania Crock. This crock is in Excellent Condition with 1 main issue, there is an old hairline crack that extends from the top rim downward and back up to the rim, U shaped at the bottom it extends outward on each side slightly to below the glaze, this issue has been glued & secured, guaranteed 100% secure & sound the crock rings true when you tap it. There ...are a few surface chips to the top outer rim, no other chips, cracks, and or repairs, some very slight manufactured roughness with faint cobalt blue drip within the salt glaze. You can refer to the pictures we guarantee 100% you will be more than happy with the overall excellent condition. The crock measures 12 7/8" tall x 9 3/8" at the top rim x 10 3/4" wide x 6 7/8" at the base and weighs approximately 12lb 5oz. There is an impressed 3 for gallons below the rim. Wonderful ovoid form with hand tooled and applied handles. Great bright cobalt blue flower decorations that border the top shoulder area and some blue at each handle.
