Terrific vintage vase, made in Italy, circa 1950s, the pinkish clay body of elongated ovoid form with slightly convex circular foot, colorfully hand-painted with balls of yarn and knitting needles with yellow polygons against a background of mottled white and rose, 9-1/2" tall overall, the underside marked "Italy, 21-15." A few tiny flakes to rim and foot (now discreetly touched up and evident only on closest inspection), otherwise very good, attractive condition overall.Quite unusual ...in this decoration.
