Original Description:
A large and rather spectacular 19th c. repousse and hand chased copper hunting themed lidded urn, crafted c. 1880 and signed F. Verhavert (?).  I believe it to be of German origin, but definitely Continental.  Each side depicts hunting scenes, one panel with a stag being chased by hounds and the other with retrievers in pursuit of gamefowl.  Tremendous craftsmanship.  The urn measures approximately 16.5" high.
