Original Description:
This Bronze I picked up at an estate sale. It is cold painted bronze in shades of white, red and black, shows a seated Arab, smoking his pipe. He is seated upon a Persian carpet. He is holding a red book in his hand. He is dressed all in white, with his turban having red trim. On the carpet sits a small octagonal shaped table with a white and blue coffee pot and cup and saucer resting on the top. It is one of the better Bergmann pieces that I have come across. The piece measures 3" in ...length and is 2 1/2" wide. It stands 2 1/4" tall. It is hallmarked with a capital B it can be seen in picture #12 it is one of the Bergman standard hallmarks. The piece is in very good condition, the only defect I can see is in picture #2 you will see a small part of the carpet with a tiny hole , it looks to have happened during production and not damage later on .
