Rare Beautiful 18th century French Silk Woven Beauvais Embroidery
Description:This beautiful rare 18th century French silk woven beauvais embroidered fabric has a silk satin ivory colored backgroundwith charming botanical small bouquets of flowers scattered throughout in soft tones of lavender, purple, pink, yellow, pale blue and greenThere is also a lovely embroidered border along the left hand side with flowers, vin...es and leaves in the same colors.
Wonderful for collectors of early French embroideries or for framing
Measurement:The fabric measurement 50" W X 39 " L
Condition: Good. There is a ruin in the fabric towards the bottom left hand side.Heavier silk/satin weight
