Beautiful Rare Early 18th Century French Silk Woven Ikat Jacquard Fabric
Description:This beautiful, rare early 18th century French silk woven ikat jacquard fabric, has various sized woven stripes with a background color of golden yellow, with woven leaves and flowers in a soft green with a taupe background. There are also wider stripes in gold against the taupe background color. The ikat element is in the soft green against the ...golden background.
Measurement:20 inches in Width by 30 1/2 inches in Length Condition:Very GoodThere are a few "pin" holes in a few places. There is one area towards the bottom left which has a rip but nothing major. A small stain towards the right hand side on the upper right. Beautiful and rare- beautiful for framing or for collectors.
