Hubley Cast Iron Black Eyed Susan Doorstop Door Stop Rare

I'm offering this super Hubley Black Eyed Susan Doorstop in fantastic original condition. This was the largest flower form that Hubley made and was used for both the Black Eyed Susan flowers as well as for their Cosmos flowers. Rarely do you find the black eyed susan doorstop! This measures 17 3/4" tall and 10 3/8" wide. I cannot find it's mark, but the cast mold is #455. This was produced around 1925-1940. It has light surface rust on the painted surface as well as on the edges. It ha...s no damage, cracks or breaks. It does not appear to me to have been repainted or touched up in any way, the paint appears to be original. Please view the photos and decide for yourself. A great rare to find piece that would be a stand out in any collection!

SHIPPING: My shipping is safe, secure and my packing is thoughtful. No one likes to receive an item in ruins, I've experienced that myself and go to great lengths to ensure my buyers never will. I ask that should you want to request specific instructions regarding shipping that you not wait until the auction has ended to express those to me. I am always happy to pack, protect and ship your items to you the way you prefer them to be sent. However, additional packing material, double boxing and special requests DO affect the total shipping costs and those costs are yours, not mine. If you place a bid and intend to win or do win the bid, please message me after you bid or at auction end and make these requests and wait, to allow me to adjust the shipping costs to reflect your needs. Don't pay before asking or ask after paying, I will not be able to honor your requests once you do so. My items are either prepackaged once a bid is on an item or packed as soon as the item closes. Once you have paid, eBay does not allow sellers to add costs on to your order for the special requests regarding shipping. Therefore I cannot honor special shipping requests once you pay for your item. Shipping is not included in that insurance value and you will lose your shipping costs if a claim is paid by the shipper. The buyer/receiver of the item is the one the shipping services require to make the insurance claim. You cannot ship an item back to me and have me make the claim, that is not how their insurance works. I am happy to help you file a claim should anything happen to your item in transit.
