Original Description:
Nice looking pair of all original WW II MK I flight goggles of the style favored by US Navy and US Marine Corps aviators and pilots. Metal frame is marked on underside of left lens, PATENTED and then 2 script letters-maybe FG (Foster Grant?). All original parts including lenses, strap and face pad. Strap still retains some elasticity. It is marked MAX SETZER "ALKI" on backside and MBS on inside of strap. Face pad is started to deteriorate some though. Gray finish has begun to prun...e and wrinkle. In a few places surface has split  and underlying material has a sticky consistency to it. Lenses and metal components in very good condition. Overall good condition  considering the age and material. Thanks for looking
