RARE Vintage Gentex Grumman Flight Helmet - 1976-1979 Very Nice Condition.
Used as you know. Liner is in fantastic condition. Outer Shell in very good condition. Left Side of helmet seems to have a some sun fade damage (seems slightly yellowed) . I believe the decal is for the Iranian Imperial Air Force. Blue Jet decal of a F-14 Tomcat on top. This would have been used from 1976 to 1979. Has a line on the visor that did not clean off. Sold as is
I would t...ake any information or help from anyone who knows more about this helmet and the possible history of this helmet. I am not a collector of historic aviation helmets and not sure the value of it. The only style helmet like this on eBay sold for over $1150 and was not nearly as nice as the helmet I have listed but did have some U.S. history.
