I was fortunate recently to havetaken a buying trip throughout the Southwest, visiting trading posts, small shops, and pawn shopswhere the Native Americancommunity goes to buy and sellthe wonderful sterling silverjewelry pieces they are so famousfor. The best part though wasmeeting all of the people, artists, and shop owners. I'm busy nowlisting all of my finds, th...ey areall guaranteed authentic NativeAmerican, some of them old pawn, and I'll list the artist if I have that information.
This piece is a very well doneketoh bow guard with a goodweight of 116.8 grams. It was acquired at a Trading Co on Hwy Route 66 in Gallup New Mexico. The stones are all well matched and have no damage. You will find light scratch and patina to the sterling. It measures approx. 3" tall X10" long.PRC200
