You are being offered an Antique French Embossed Bronze and Japanese Satsuma Earthenware Art Nouveau Style Pedestal Calling Card Receiver or Calling Card Tray that features a Scene from Classical Greek or Roman Mythology embossed in Bas Relief on the Top of the Bronze Tray. We weren’t able to find any identifying marks on the Small, Hand Painted, Satsuma Vase or on the Bronze Base or Tray;... but we believe this Calling Car Tray was constructed in France during the Late 19th or Early 20th Century, circa 1890-1920. The Satsuma Vase measures approximately 3¼ inches in height and 2½ inches in diameter and the Pedestal Tray stands 8¼ inches high and the Bronze Tray measures 7¼ inches in diameter. Aside from the Bronze having developed a Very Dark, Natural Patina, this Calling Card Pedestal Tray is in Very Good to Excellent Condition, without any form of damage or signs of excessive wear.
