Original Description:

You are bidding on a wonderful old 13" long x 2 1/2" wide WWII Japanese Navy Officer's dagger / sword with its original locking scabbard ( the lock mechanism does not stay locked -- may just need to be adjusted.  The blade is 8 1/2" long x 5/8" wide.  This piece is in good overall condition but there is a split in the leather on the side of the scabbard and there is also a split on the grip of the handle.  The guard has two hallmarks.
