Original Description:
This auction is for an original Early WWII USMC KA-BAR Fighting Knife with Original Leather Scabbard.  The knife is in very good used condition. The blade shows use, but has not been abused. Has some of it's original blue on the blade. It is stamped USMC on one side of the blade by the hilt and KA-BAR/OLEAN, N.Y. on the reverse. The washer handle is in good condition with some scarring to a few of the washers, but everything is very tight and has the early threaded tang and thick butt. The ...leather sheath is in very good condition showing use, with no markings ton be found on it. The strap snaps nicely to the knife handle.
