MD-USN Pocket Surgical Kit
Original WW2 Medical Department US Navy Case, Pins, Scissors & Dressing Forceps with instruments, khaki canvas construction with durable snap type flap, trifold construction with the following components: [1] Packet of LILLY Sulfathiazole, 5 Gms., unopened. [2] TELFA brand gauze pad by Bauer & Black, unopened. [3] Dressing scissors, chrome plated steel mfg by HENKEL, MD-USN marked. [4] Scalpel, stainless steel, marked MD-USN. [5] Forceps/clamp, chr...ome plated steel, marked MD-USN. [5] Tweezers, chrome plated steel, marked HACKENSACK.Light age soiling to canvas but no tears, repairs, or missing hardware. Light surface rust to inside of tweezers but will clean easily. No damage to any of the instruments and all operate smoothly. Only problem I can see is that the safety pins are missing. Kit was a component of various US Navy medical aid bags. Nice piece for completing your WW2 Navy Corpsman aid bag and is in fine condition. Any questions please feel free to ask.
