US NAVY MEDIUM BROWN KNIT SET FOR M - 422A & AN MODEL FLIGHT JACKETS

This is listing for one complete set (pair of cuffs and waist knits) of single ply rib rack knits & correct for a USN WW-2 era flight jacket. These knits are medium brown in color & 100% wool. As WW-2 era knits they are a heavy weight and have a slightly more coarse weave with a wider vertical reveal than subsequent or later model USN jacket knits. They have the correct horizontal and vertical dimensions for any size (36-50) USN flight jacket. Even more specifically, the correc...t color for both the Ed Church and W&G M-422A model jackets as these knits match those originals perfectly.
These particular knits were made here in the USA. Specifically to be used for both my restorations projects and new builds. Configured to perfectly accommodate the additional horizontal reveal found on WW-2 era USN flight jackets. Most notably, the cuffs will make up to be 2 3/4" to 3" when attached and what I consider to be the perfect length.
Above all, the wool used to create these knits are a great quality, a long fiber and as a result much less likely to pill. Therefore maintain their integrity throughout the life of your jacket. Something to appreciate and most unlike many other inferior knits in which I had the misfortune of having experienced in the past.
Since these knits were supplied to me through a minimum order and made in the USA. Currently, I have slightly more than I will need in the foreseeable future you are welcome to a set while they last!
I've included a few pix of some WW-2 USN jackets that I've either restored or built for examples only. All using these same colored medium brown knits.
Most notably, I have the most accurately duplicated replacement knits available for USN jackets that were made between 1939 and 1965. So check out my other knits I have made available as needed!
